To celebrate the feast of St. George, the kitchen will be serving up some special English dishes including English Asparagus with Poached Duck Egg & Prosciutto followed by a proper British steak and ale pie made with beef from the Alscot Estate and our very own Alscot Ale that we serve behind the bar.
As well as this, our cocktail master maker Gary, will be shaking up some English inspired cocktails behind including:
A red and white Tom Collins consisting of Bombay Sapphire Gin, Lemon Juice, Soda Water, Sugar & Maraschino Cherry. What could be more appropriate than a red and white cocktail for St George’s Day?
As well as A Cotswolds Garden (recipe courtesy of our pals at Cotswolds Distillery) consisting of a quintessential mix of Cotswolds Dry Gin, Elderflower Liqueur, Lime Juice & Apple Juice.
