Stratford upon Avon - Known as Shakespeare’s Country this charming town, bursting with history boasts numerous world famous landmarks such as the renowned Royal Shakespeare Theatre, Ann Hathaway’s Cottage and Mary Arden’s House. There is a racecourse for horse racing enthusiasts, boating on the River Avon and crazy golf and street entertainment in the Bancroft Gardens. The leisure and visitor centre offers a wide range of sports facilities including swimming, badminton, tennis and squash. Depending on your skills there are a variety of wonderful golf courses available locally. For the shoppers designer boutiques can be found amongst the affordable high street stores.
